Description: This introductory course discusses healthy aging, what is and what is not Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia as well as the impact of social determinants of health in those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This webinar will:

  • Understand the impact of aging on adults with IDD
  • Increase knowledge of potentially treatable conditions that mimic dementia
  • Explain challenges unique to IDD, services and support
